January 30, 2025 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm ET

Are you interested in a program of provocative conversations for these challenging times? Do you wonder how leaders manifest their values and manage uncertainty and complexity?

On January 30, 2025, IPFCC will launch "The Art of the Possible: An IPFCC Leadership Series."

Liz Crocker lives in Nova Scotia and is an IPFCC Board Member and co-author of Privileged Presence. For the inaugural webinar, Liz will interview Sherry B. Perkins, PhD, RN, FAAN, President of Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland, and the Luminus Health Chief of Hospital Integration. The title of their conversation is "Straight Talk - What Matters Most."

The Leadership Series webinars will be an hour in length and will provide opportunity for participants to ask questions.

The Case for Multilingual Patient Engagement

Health Affairs October article, The Case for Multilingual Patient Engagement, focused on the inclusion of patients and families who speak languages other than English in patient engagement and how the diversity of PFACs should represent the demographics of communities they serve. This project was supported by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). Patient engagement in direct care, organizational design and governance, and policy making is critical to improving health care quality, efficiency, and population health.
