Organizational Assessment. Use an appreciative inquiry approach to build on organizational strengths, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for current and emerging best practices tailored to the specific organization. Activities include:

Facility Design Planning. Provide assistance to ensure renovation and new construction projects support the practice of PFCC and include patient and family advisors in planning.

Visioning Retreats. Engage leaders and others in discussions and activities to envision the future and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Strategic Planning. Facilitate dialogue and planning with leaders to integrate patient- and family-centered concepts into a strategic plan.

Designing Systems for Evaluation and Tracking. Plan approaches to track progress and impact of PFCC and collaboration with patient and family advisors.

Learning Community. Facilitate learning communities focused on areas for improvement to advance PFCC practice.
