Whether in orientations for new staff members or topic-specific continuing education sessions (e.g., end-of-life care), hospitals, primary care practices, and other settings are beginning to involve patient/family advisors in education – and some are doing this across disciplines. A national exemplar and one of its hospital “off-shoots” are profiled as well as a hospital-based program focused on interdisciplinary training about neurodevelopmental disabilities. Links to tools from each program are provided.
